Hey friends. So...our summer tour is sneaking up on us and we're gearing up for two awesome months of the west coast. But, in true Steve Jobs fashion I just want to announce one more thing...
On July 9th we will be releasing a brand new 5 song E.P. called "Healing E.P.". It will contain one brand new song plus four acoustic versions of songs from "A Beauty Not So Fair". It will be available for $4.99 exclusively from bandbox.com.
One more thing...
50% of the profit from this E.P. will go directly to research to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis . One of my best friends has MS and I see day in and day out how it alters her life. I also see in her the hope and the strength that can come from a person when they are living such an unpredictable life. So, from living around an inspiring person with a uncertain disorder...we bring you this song and this project. It's a way for us to make a difference. You can listen to musicians, celebrities and politicians talk about making a difference all day but until action is taken it's all meaningless. Changing for the better is in no way a platform that sells records, wins academy awards or grasps votes. It's simply action. Until we grasp this, we will forever be a people that is endlessly seeking "a better world" just be cause it's the current trend or because makes us feel better to do so.
This is one small way we want to take action. There are so many problems and disorders in this world so it's impossible to focus on all of them. Because of this we've decided to direct our attention to MS for the time being. Mainly because it's something we see every day and it's something that countless people live every day. God put Leigh in our lives for a reason (more than we can count more than likely) so we're gonna give this a shot. Please spread the word.
