Who can forget that unforgettable dual Tom and Jerry and all thier crazy antics. As a child Tom and Jerry cartoons were on my favorite cartoon list and now watching this lovable pair brought back so many memories. What is so great about Tom and Jerry is how it brings together and bonds generations. Even though Tom and Jerry are over 60 years old, my son and I were both equally excited to watch this DVD.
Tom and Jerry Around the World DVD contains 22 cat and mouse fiasco's with new animation in some of their best around the world adventures  including destinations in New York, Spain, Hollywood and favorites like The Two Mouseketeers, Kangadoofus and who can forget Invasion of the Body Slammers.
This DVD has so much action my son and I lost track of time as we watched episode after episode, had many laughs and talked about our favorites. We loved the bright and colorful cartoons and found ourselves looking forward to the next on the list. If you are a Tom and Jerry lover I would highly recommend Tom and Jerry Around the World for your viewing pleasure and your DVD collection. We gave this DVD collection 5 stars.
Synopsis:

This hilarious, new animated title features 22 action-packed cartoons featuring the tussling twosome in some of their best adventures from around the globe. Naples, Spain, Australia, New York and Hollywood are some of the memorable destinations that await viewers on this exciting trip.
Pack your suitcases and renew those passports! Tom & Jerry: Around the World is your first-class ticket to an entertaining, globe-trekking adventure. An exciting voyage with the popular cat and mouse duo awaits in this 22-cartoon collection consisting of classic theatrical shorts and episodes from Tom & Jerry Tales.

It’s bon voyage for Tom and Jerry as they duke it out as competing street performers in the Big Apple in Way-Off Broadway. Tom chases Jerry through the streets of Naples in Neapolitan Mouse. In Flamenco Fiasco, the dueling duo finds itself in Spain where Tom shows off his fancy footwork as he engages in a very competitive Flamenco dance competition. It’s a trip Down Under in Kangadoofus where Jerry takes refuge with a kangaroo mother and her joeys in an effort to ditch Tom. In Freaky Tiki, it’s “Aloha” for Tom and Jerry as they relax on a Hawaiian beach and find themselves entering an active volcano where they encounter Pele, the goddess of flames. Next it’s off to Tinseltown where Tom conducts a symphony orchestra in Tom & Jerry in the Hollywood Bowl. These and several other captivating adventures are featured on this must-own release.

Originally created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, Tom and Jerry centers on the never-ending rivalry between Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse. The plots of each short usually center on Tom’s attempts to capture Jerry. Jerry however, is clever and quick on his feet so Tom hardly ever manages to catch him. The original series is notable for having won the Academy Award® for Best Short Subject: Cartoon seven times.
